
How to Add a Spare Key to BMW F-Series and G-Series Vehicles?

All the steps you need to take to add a key to a to BMW F-Series or G-Series vehicle are included in the menu and the on-screen instructions lead you all the way to completion.
How to add a key:
- First, take the BDC2 module out of the car and disassemble it to reveal the PCB.
- Clip the ZN095 cable wires to it (wiring diagram soon available).
- Go to Keys & Start Synchronization in the menu of the software.
- Read the data from the BDC2 and save it to a folder (4 files are generated; you can make a new folder beforehand for easier processing).
- Load the data back to the module.
- Read the data from the working key.
- Write the data to the new key when prompted.
- Put the module back together and reinstall it in the car.
- Place the newly programmed key on the ring aerial on the steering column and hold it for about 30 seconds while turning the ignition on.
