2025 was a milestone year for Abrites, marked by exclusive industry breakthroughs, broader vehicle coverage, deeper diagnostics and enhanced tools for both professional workshops and keen end users. Throughout the past year, our team has launched revolutionary solutions, innovative systems and tools for car experts and gearheads. 
Let’s start from one of the biggest automotive groups and the Abrites way for:

Creating Industry-Leading Software Solutions For Renault, Dacia, Peugeot and Citroen Cars

Among our most in-demand products are our latest developments for Renault and Dacia vehicles, in particular the RR030 license for cluster and ABS (ATE) calibration for Renault/Dacia models manufactured after 2022. Our Renault and Dacia software licenses have proven to be extremely valuable for our customer base and continue to generate significant interest.


The new Peugeot and Citroën licenses have also been very successful. The PN020 license enables PIN code reading, key programming (HT-AES), and emergency start for PSA group vehicles equipped with BSI (2021+) and VSM (2022+) modules. The latest PN021 license provides mileage calibration capabilities in IC, BSI, BCCM, and VSM modules.

Spare Key Addition for VAG Immo 5C Vehicles

The VN024 license opened the door for additional key programming and module replacement (ECU, TCU) for vehicles from the Immo 5C generation of the VAG automotive group. With the help of the RH850 programmer and PROTAG programmer, you can reprogram modules on bench and program a spare key without the need for a dealer account or synchro bytes. The license is also a great and safe way to replace engine control units and transmission control units (crypto core), in an elegant and non-invasive way.
This software license is the only way to replace Immo 5C modules and add keys! 

Ground-breaking Solutions for Mercedes-Benz Cars

MN039 Launch: Personalize TCUs Without Cutting
The MN039 license was launched to eliminate the need to open the VGS4-0-NAG2 TCU module, only using OBD and diagnostic CAN connection. This is an alternative way to work with the TCUs safely without having to perform complex operations or risking damage to the module. MN039 is still available for purchase, even after the MN040 launch, which allows adapting and personalizing these TCUs via direct connection on bench.

TCU Adaptation and Personalization Without Available FBS4 Data from the Original Module
In 2025 Abrites was the first and only to release a working solution for personalization of new or used VGS4-0-NAG2 (7G-Tronic), VGSNAG3 (9G-Tronic) and VGS2-FDCT (DCT) transmission control units WITHOUT previously saved FBS4 data from the original module.

MN040 is unique on the market, offering dealer-level TCU work that no other independent or original tool currently provides!
This software license allows operations that even the dealer software cannot ensure; namely using second-hand TCUs without the data from the original module! 

DSM, MRD/MRG, MED41 Personalization Without Data
Along with the revolutionary solutions for Mercedes-Benz, we also enriched the functionalities of some existing licenses, like the FBS4 Personalization Manager (MN034). Using the MN034 license, you can personalize virgin (brand-new or second-hand) DSM, MRD/MRG and MED41 ECUs when no previously saved personalization data from the original module is available!
This makes the range of Abrites software for Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles the most versatile, innovative and reliable tool for expert working predominantly with this brand. We can also safely say that the Abrites software range is unmatched, making an undisputed a leader on the market.

Cutting-edge Tools for BMW vehicles

One of the most prominent developments this year is the BN020 license, allowing key renewal and programming for BMW F- and G-series vehicles with BCD2. It proved to be immensely helpful to customers, since it allowed reusing original second-hand keys and transponders. Another distinct license, the BN022 license, also debuted this year, allowing the replacement and adaptation of BDC2 modules with second-hand ones.

New Segment: McLaren Diagnostics

In 2025 we also worked on extending our brand coverage. Our team introduced the Abrites diagnostics for McLaren vehicles and on top of that, released the ML001 Advanced Diagnostics license, offering full scans, live data, gateway configuration, calibrations, system readiness test, and module alignment across ALL McLaren models.
Our product offers full-on OBD diagnostics and calibrations at the best quality-price ratio on the market to this day. And we are only starting the license range for McLaren. Stay tuned!

RH850/V850 Programmer: Deep Module Access

The Abrites RH850/V850 Programmer (ZN085) continued evolving in 2025, enabling secure read/write of locked RH850 and V850 processors, eliminating the need for invasive work on the PCB. Supported procedures include:

  • Immo data extraction and key programming for VAG vehicles
  • Mileage calibration for a wide range of brands
  • Cluster exchange for VAG, Mercedes-Benz
  • AES key solutions for FCA cars
  • and more

This flagship tool expands access to complex module data across multiple brands.

AVDI Plus: The New Core Interface

This year, we launched AVDI Plus, the upgraded Abrites diagnostic interface with added CAN-FD and ENet support, delivering faster communication and broader protocol coverage. AVDI Plus became the foundation for enhanced diagnostics, programming, calibrations, and customization across the Abrites platform.

DiagNodes: One-Click Flexible System

DiagNodes strengthened Abrites’ diagnostics suite by providing deep node-level access to vehicle modules remotely. With DiagNodes, car experts can:

  • Read/clear DTCs at the module level
  • Access enhanced live data and parameters
  • Dashboard calibrations
  • BMW coding operations

We are particularly happy with the NBT Evo exchange options, FSC activations and CarPlay activation, available as one-click operations. Service history reset and write for BMW cars is also available inside the DiagNodes menu.

Easy, reliable and token-based, DiagNodes offers one-click operations with a distinct focus on German automotive brands: BMW, Mercedes-Benz, VAG. MODI/VIN Reader: A Steady Pace

The MODI mobile interface continued to play a key role in 2025, offering quick scans, live data, health reports, VIN reading, and access to advanced diagnostics and coding via the MODI mobile app, bringing Abrites capabilities to handheld devices.
The VIN Reader app is also still one of the most practical Abrites solutions, especially for insurance and law enforcement officers. It reads not only VIN numbers, but also mileage info from all modules that carry it, which can reveal possible tampering with the vehicle.
At the Milipol expo in Paris this year, we presented the Vehicle Inspection Kit, which includes MODI/VIN Reader hardware and mobile apps, along with PROTAG programmer and Key Inspector license. All these tools are specially curated into a set to offer on-the-go critical vehicle data downloads and analysis for border officers, insurance specialists and agents.

Carmon: Fleet Management Reimagined

Carmon expanded its role within the Abrites ecosystem as a solid fleet management system with diagnostic and analytical capabilities, perfect for large fleets of cars, vans and buses. It collects and analyses data in real time, helping fleet management optimize cost and lower down time.

Software Enhancements & Brand Coverage

Through versions 35.0–35.4, Abrites expanded dealer-level diagnostics, key programming, mileage and dashboard capabilities for BMW, VAG, Renault/Dacia, PSA, Toyota/Lexus, JLR, Porsche, FCA, and others—improving customisations and late-model support.

Global Engagement, Events & Training

Abrites reinforced its international presence with participation in Equip Auto in Paris, Automechanika Dubai and Autopromotec Bologna, partner network expansion in key regions, practical training events, and seasonal promotions.
We are also happy that we could hold the European Automotive EXPO for the fifth time this year at the Abrites Italy office, bringing together numerous vehicle professionals from all around Europe and beyond. It is also where the MN040 license and DiagNodes were presented for the first time publicly. 

In summary, 2025 saw Abrites deliver exclusive market-first solutions, powerful tools like AVDI Plus, DiagNodes, and RH850/V850 Programmer enhancements, and unmatched coverage that together set new standards for the independent automotive aftermarket.
