New for FCA Vehicles: Hitag2 and Atmel Key Programming for Cars with Armed BCM
With the latets update of the Abrites software for FCA vehicles and the Abrites RH850/V850 Programmer, our team is happy to introduce the following:
Key programming for vehicles with armed BCM modules, using Hitag2 or Atmel keys
The procedure differs for each key type, see more below!
Armed BCMs using HiTag2 transponders:
These models either have Internal Data Flash or External EEPROM, and there is a different approach in reading them for each case.
Where there is an Internal Data Flash, it can be read with the RH850/V850 Programmer. External EEPROM can be read with ABPROG.
After successfully reading, load the dump file in the Abrites diagnostics for FCA vehicles (offline v9.9) Transponder Maker menu, where you can prepare a TA31 Emulator. Turning ignition on with that emulator disables the alarm.
Supported models include:
- Fiat 500e
- Alfa Romeo MiTo
- Fiat Fiorino
- And more
Requirements:
- AVDI
- ZN085 Abrites RH850/V850 Programmer or ZN030 ABPROG Programmer (depending on the EEPROM)
- TA31 HiTag2 Key Emulator
- AMS Active annual subscription
This functionality requires NO additional software!
No licenses needed!
Only access to the Abrites diagnostics for FCA vehicles v9.9 (offline). For that, you need active annual subscription and the latest software update.
Armed BCMs using Atmel AES transponders:
In cases where the car uses Atmel AES keys, you can read the Data Flash, using the RH850/V850 Programmer. Once it’s read successfully, an "Add Key" button appears, which requires you to place a virgin Atmel AES key in the PROTAG. The key then is prepared and added in the BCM’s memory. That is now a functioning key that disables the alarm.
Supported models include:
- Alfa Romeo Tonale
- Dodge Hornet
Requirements:
- AVDI
- ZN085 Abrites RH850/V850 Programmer
- ZN003 PROTAG
- AMS Active annual subscription
- FN024 Key Learning by RH850 Dump for FCA Vehicles
Make sure you update to the latest version of the Abrites software, links for downloading are already on your email! Also, keeping your annual subscription is important, it’s the only way to access the latest updates of the essential software of your AVDI.
