Join Us at EA Expo 2026: Hands-On Training and Automotive Diagnostics in Italy

After a busy and successful run at Automechanika Frankfurt, we are packing up our hardware and heading to Chioggia, Italy, for the European Automotive Expo (EA Expo) 2026. This year, the event is taking place right at the Abrites Italy headquarters from October 7th to October 11th.

If you know how we operate, you know this isn't just a standard trade show where you walk around collecting brochures.

EA Expo is built for automotive professionals who want to get their hands dirty.
We are splitting the week into three intense days of expert-level training, followed by a massive two-day exhibition weekend with our industry partners, friends, and competitors.
I will be there on the ground for the entire event to discuss all things automotive with you, answer your technical questions, and run through live demonstrations.

Here is exactly what we have planned:

1. The Training Days (October 7 – 9)

If you want to master the toughest immobilizer and module replacement jobs in the aftermarket, you need to be here for the Training Days.

We have a great lineup of real vehicles ready for you to train on, and we will be breaking down the workflows step-by-step:

• October 7: Key Programming Masterclass. We are starting with the fundamentals of immobilizer systems and moving straight into brand-specific deep dives. Expect detailed sessions on BMW (CAS & FEM/BDC), Mercedes-Benz FBS3 and FBS4, VAG (MQB platforms and Immo data handling), Renault & Dacia (UCH procedures and key cards), Toyota & Lexus smart keys, and of course, FCA BCM-related procedures.
   
• October 8: Module Adaptation & Programming. This day is dedicated to component protection, security access, and bringing dead cars back to life. We will walk you through BMW FEM/BDC replacements, Mercedes-Benz FBS3/FBS4 control unit adaptations, and VAG module adaptation. This is where you learn how to properly virginize and recycle donor modules to keep high-profit jobs in your workshop.

• October 9: AVDI Base Training. A complete, deep-dive walkthrough of the essential software that comes natively with your AVDI. We will cover everything from basic diagnostics to executing complex procedures using just the base package.

2. The Exhibition Weekend (October 10 – 11)

On the weekend, we open the doors for the main EA Expo. Access to the exhibition itself is completely free. You will get the chance to check out the newest diagnostic devices, locksmith tools, and programming solutions from various exhibitors and companies across the industry. It's a great opportunity to network, talk shop, and see live product demonstrations.
