Automechanika Frankfurt 2026: The Latest Abrites Solutions and a New Face at the Stand
Next week, from September 8–12, 2026, the automotive aftermarket world gathers in Messe Frankfurt. Before we talk about the hardware we are bringing to the show, let’s take a quick look back at how this massive event started.
Back in 1971, the organizers of the famous Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) abruptly canceled their event because car manufacturers were facing an economic pinch and complained about exhibition costs.
Left with an empty convention center, Messe Frankfurt pivoted and created an event strictly for the aftermarket, parts, and garage trades.
Fast forward 55 years, and Automechanika has grown into the biggest event in our industry—the place where independent workshops go to find the tools that keep them in the game.
This year, Abrites is arriving at Automechanika with our most advanced diagnostic updates yet. We are bringing practical solutions that bypass OEM restrictions, save days of manual labor, and keep the most profitable jobs strictly in your workshop.

VAG: Breaking the 5C and 5D Barriers If you have been turning away modern VAG vehicles because of crypto-core lockouts, it is time to stop. We are showcasing our independent solutions for the highly encrypted IMMO 5C and IMMO 5D generations.
• IMMO 5C All Keys Lost & IMMO 5D Key Adding: We do this without extracting synchro bytes and without needing a restricted dealer portal connection.
• MQB & MEB Platforms: Using the ZN085 RH850/V850 Programmer, we extract CS, MAC, VIN, and PIN directly from the processor dump. Whether you are doing AKL programming on an MQB dashboard, calibrating a cluster, or adapting modules on the new MEB electric platforms, you are doing it independently.
Mercedes-Benz: Bypassing the Certificate Lockouts Mercedes-Benz has been actively trying to lock independent shops out of coding and adaptation by hiding diagnostic routines behind digital security certificates. We found a way around it.
• At Automechanika, we will demonstrate our new generation of Mercedes diagnostics that handles these modern certificate-based lockouts.
You get the freedom to do real coding, personalize donor ECUs and VGS modules, and adapt FBS4 components directly—without being blocked by an expired or missing OEM certificate.
The Ultimate French Car & Stellantis Tool We have always said Abrites is the ultimate French car tool, and we are proving it again in Frankfurt.
• Stellantis / PSA: We bypass the Secure Gateway (SGW) to unlock active diagnostics and Proxi Alignments. More importantly, we are showing off our ability to virginize BSIs and adapt donor engine and transmission controllers—including the Aisin AXN8 (EAT8) TCUs. You don't need the data from the dead original module to make the donor work.
• Renault & Dacia Latest Platforms: Complete spare key and All Keys Lost programming for the newest platforms (Clio V, Captur II, Megane IV). When the OBDII is blocked, we extract the PIN directly from the RH850 processor dump to generate keys.
• Mastering the Sweet 400 UCH: We haven't forgotten the high-volume platforms. For the Sweet 400 UCH, Abrites provides a flawless, plug-and-play solution. Using our CB012 or CB021 cables, we automate disabling the synchronization between the ABS and the dashboard. This turns a highly complicated cluster calibration and module replacement into a fast, straightforward job. We fully support this on the Renault Twingo III, Trafic III, Kwid, Smart 453, Dacia Duster Phase III (with Johnson Controls UCH), and Dacia Spring.
• In-House Keyless Cards: When providing a replacement key, you don't want to rely on cheap aftermarket shells. This is why we manufacture our own fully compatible, keyless key cards for Renault. Engineered, assembled, and tested right here in Bulgaria under our strict quality control, these give you an OEM-grade product for keyless entry and push-to-start systems without the dealership price tag.
Toyota & Lexus: Keep the Dashboard Intact Our Toyota and Lexus software has quietly become a massive time-saver, saving workshops thousands of euro in manual labor.
• TN017 ID-Code Box Reset: Losing all keys on a Toyota used to mean removing the entire dashboard to reach the ID-Code Box. No more. We reset and adapt the highly secure ID-Code Box directly via LIN-BUS. It turns a multi-day teardown into a fast, profitable job.
• TN023 for 2024/2025 Architectures: We cover the newest BA, B6, and B9 smart keys. Using our TA64 and TA68 emulators, we handle All Keys Lost procedures for these complex AES systems directly on the spot.
Meet Abrito: Our New Digital Colleague Finally, we have a very special addition to the Abrites stand this year.
Along with our master technicians, we will be joined by a fully humanoid robot. We call him Abrito.
