MN00F - Full ABRITES Software Package for Mercedes-Benz Cars

The Full Mercedes-Benz cars package includes the MN030, MN032, MN033, MN034, MN035, MN037, and MN038 licenses. Below you can see what each one of them covers as functionalities.

The MN038 license allows you the exceptional ability to calibrate IC223 (2020+) and IC177 (2023+) clusters in Mercedes-Benz vehicles, equipped with Visteon R7F701529 BGA processors. This software license ensures a safer and simpler process, not requiring any work with the EZS (EIS) module - it is neither needed, nor affected during the procedure. Synchronisation between the EZS (EIS) module and the Instrument cluster is blocked without the need to use a filter! All operations are carried out directly on the IC223/IC177 cluster PCB for maximum efficiency and reliability.

Functionality:

• Adjust the mileage value in the IC223 (2020+) / IC177 (2023+) clusters in Mercedes-Benz vehicles, equipped with Visteon R7F701529 BGA processors
• Block the synchronization of the mileage with the EZS module (no need to use any type of filter in the vehicle!)

The procedure requires working with the IC223/IC177 module's PCB on bench, unsoldering a few capacitors and soldering the wires to the CB501 cable onto it. Wiring diagrams are included within the software for guidance. If alternative wiring is required for specific modules, please contact support@abrites.com for additional diagrams and assistance.
In order to connect and work with the IC223/IC177 cluster successfully, you will need the ZN085 RH850/V850Programmer and the ZN092 adapter.
AVDI with active AMS is required to use this functionality.

The MN037 license allows you the unprecedented ability to calibrate IC177 clusters in Mercedes-Benz vehicles. This software license does not affect the EZS module and is much safer and easier to use. The EZS module is not even necessary when performing the procedure, all the work is done on the IC177 cluster.

Functionality:

• Adjust the mileage value in the IC177 dashboard
• Block the synchronization of the mileage with the EZS module

The procedure requires working with the IC177 module's PCB on bench, unsoldering a few capacitors and soldering the wires to the CB501 cable onto it. Wiring diagrams will be available in the software.
In order to connect to the IC177 cluster, you will need the ZN085 RH850/V850Programmer and the ZN092 adapter.

All who purchase the MN037 license now, will receive the links for its activation and will be able to use it on December 16 2024!
AVDI with active AMS is required to use this functionality.

MN035 VGS4-NAG2 FBS4 virgin/personalization via ABPROG license is dedicated to work with VGS4-NAG2 7G-Tronic TCU of the FBS4/DAS4 generation.

Functionalities:

• Read FBS4 data from VGS4-NAG2 modules with the help of ABPROG
• Set VGS4-NAG2 modules to virgin state using ABPROG
• Write FBS4 personalization data to the TCU using ABPROG. Writing is also available via the internal CAN-BUS for owners of MN034

ZN030 ABPROG programmer, AVDI, and Active AMS are required!

The MN034 FBS4 Personalization Expert license allows easy personalization of ALL virgin modules from the FBS4 generation of Mercedes DAS (Drive Authorization System).
Personalization expert practically has no limitations in its coverage! It was designed to work with and build on the MN032. For this reason, they are meant to work together. Personalization is done by internal CAN- BUS of the control modules. Indeed, the same simple personalization is possible for DSM and VGS modules too with no need to open the module or connect a programmer.
NB! DSM and VGS4-NAG require previous virginization on bench using AVDI and ABPROG due to specifics in manufacturing.
Personalization Expert exceeds all current knowledge and overcomes problems plaguing the diagnostic world for nearly a decade.

Here is why MN034 is truly special:

• No exceptions in the production range of control modules. No more troubles and restrictions caused by production year changes and manufacturer limitations. MRD1, MRG1, CRR2, EMS71, VGS4NAG2 (requires to be made virgin prior to adaptation), DSM (requires to be made virgin prior to adaptation), Electric Motors, Hybrid Motors, etc. all by internal CAN bus.
• Our personalization expert eliminates the problem when the old control unit is missing!
• Personalization expert generates a special FBS4 data and uses it to complete the personalization process.
• In its current, first iteration MN034 allows personalization of MED177, MED1775, MED40, CR40, CR41, CR42, CR43, CR60LS, CR61 ECUs via OBDII when NO PREVIOUS PERSONALIZATION DATA IS AVAILABLE!
• The list of supported control modules for personalization when the old module is missing will be updated continuously as we progress.

Currently MN032 and MN034 have partial restrictions for W223/W206 based models. This is still MN034’s first version. Our coverage will be extended for these models after we release an additional communication adapter for AVDI.

MN033 is dedicated to resolving a problem with the "ELV Component Fault" which is preventing the vehicle from being started and driven.
This is a common fault in the Electronic Steering Lock (ESL/ELV) modules. The MN033 enables you to clear the critical error which blocks the vehicle's electronic steering lock.
This function is performed with a direct connection to the ELV diagnostic line. It can be executed direct in the vehicle or on bench!

Supported vehicles:

• ALL FBS4 vehicles with ESL/ELV modules!

 
The usage of the ZN051 ABRITES Distribution Box is recommended for this license.

 

MN032 is Mercedes FBS4 software license, designed by Abrites from the beginning to be the world leader in terms of Mercedes-Benz vehicles module replacement, both for new and used control units.

Here is what you can use MN032 for:

• Set FBS4 Electronic Control Modules to virgin state
• Read the personalization data from a FBS4 Control Modules and save it to a file
• Program personalization data from a previously saved file to a FBS4 Control Module
• FBS4 Control Modules Activation
• Display FBS4 Control Modules status including those assembled in hybrid and electric vehicles without dismantling
• VIN programming

 

Currently supported FBS4 - Control Modules:

• by OBDII - Read FBS4 data, Program FBS4 data(Personalize), set to virgin state all MED17, EDC17, SID310, Delphi- CRD3 ECUs, (CR40, CR41, CR42, CR43, CR6, CR60, CR61, MED40, MED41, MED177, MED1773, MED1775, CRR1, CRR1+, CRD3, CRD3S2). 48V starter generators too are fully supported by OBDII. The ones we are certain and have tested are the INV20EM01 type and their derivatives (hybrid vehicles)
• OBDII support for  reading  FBS4 data from all MRD1, MRG1, MRG2, CRR2, EMS71 (no restrictions in production year!)
• Bench and ZN051 Distribution box connection to the unit abilities include - set to virgin state MRD1, MRG1, CRR2 (confirmed for those produced before 2021).
• ZN051 Distribution box/ ZN030 ABPROG and Bench connection to the unit – support for all DSM/DSM222 and transmission control units VGS-DCT (dual clutch transmission) and VGSNAG3 (9G- Tronic).
• ECU MRD1, MRG1 (confirmed for those manufactured up to 2021) – Bench connection using ZN051.

• Direct Shift Module (DSM) – Connection via ABPROG (ZN030) is required to connect to the module’s microcontroller to read and extract the needed data directly from it.

The MN030 is the latest development dedicated to odometer calibration and module replacement by OBDII for dashboards of FBS4 vehicles equipped with IC213 or IC222 dashboard
