Additional Hardware Kit for VAG Vehicles by ABRITES

The ABRITES Additional Hardware Kit for VAG vehicles contains a range of adapters, required for working with vehicles from the VAG group (Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda, Lamborghini, Bentley).

Additional pack for VAG vehicles contains:
•    BCM2 Solder-Free Connection Set (ZN080)
•    ECU reading set (ZN074)
•    VAG VDO cluster adapter (ZN059) - is used to enter service mode for VAG VDO dashboards with a NEC processor and using the UDS protocol.
•    VAG Micronas (new-style connector) cluster adapter (ZN060) - used to enter service mode for VAG VDO dashboards with a NEC processor and using the UDS protocol.
•    VAG Micronas (old-style connector) cluster adapter (ZN061) - used to enter service mode for VAG VDO dashboards with a Micronas processor and the old style connector.
•    A6/A7/A8 CAN Adapter (ZN040)
The ZN080 set is intended for connecting AVDI to BCM2 modules to read and access (unlock) BCM2 modules on bench. This allows key programming procedures to be performed on certain vehicles.
This set does NOT require any soldering, which makes working with these modules much easier.
The Solder-Free Connection Set includes the following:
•    3 removable BCM2 adapter boards equipped with expertly placed needles to fit various types of BCM2 modules:
•    Adapter Type A is used to connect to BCM2 units for 8K models - A4/A5/Q5
•    Adapter Type B is used to connect to BCM2 units for 4H models - A6/A7/A8/Touareg with software version above 800 (can be found on the label)
•    Adapter Type C is used to connect to BCM2 units for 4H models - A6/A7/A8/Touareg with software version below 800 (can be found on the label)
•    CB035 Y - Connection Cable for AVDI and ABProg equipped with DB9 for connecting each adapter board, two DB25 connectors (one for AVDI and one for ZN045), and a DC power supply connector
•    ZN045 - Adapter
•    Plastic bolts for securing the adapter board with needles onto the BCM2 module
•    Spare needles (the connection needles are easily replaceable if necessary)

Supported vehicles:
•    A4/A5/Q5 vehicles 2008-2016 - all keys lost
•    A6/A7/A8/Touareg vehicles 2010-2018 - adding spare key (and all key lost programming, if CS of ECU/TCU can be read)
•    Lamborghini Huracán 2014+
•    This adapter is directly connected to the AVDI and it requires the ZN063 Power adapter 12V/1A DC (not included in the package).
The ZN074 set is developed and designed by the Abrites Team to aid you in ECU reading and writing procedures on bench. It is designed to work together with ZN051 Distribution Box and cannot be used individually. The ZN074 works great with the Abrites Engine Control Unit Programming tool and EP00X licenses.
Contents:
•    14V/4A DC Power adapter - used as a charger for ECU, DSBox and AVDI on bench. (EU Plug 110-220V)
•    Connecting cable Power Supply -> DSBox (banana plug)
•    Boot Test Probe - used for easier connection to the ECU’s Boot pin
•    2-footer probe positioner - used for holding the Boot test probe in place, so that your hands are free
•    Micro-Pincer Hook (opening 0.76mm) - used for BGA ball hook up, when the Boot pin of the ECU PCB is not accessible
•    Boot probe connection cable (2mm banana plug, len 0,5m) - used for connecting the Boot test probe or the Micro-pincer hook to the DSBox
•    2mm banana socket - used for soldering to the Boot cable, coming from the DSBox, in order to connect the Boot probe connection cable.

If you only need a power supply charger, we recommend you get the ZN082 14V/4A adapter.
The ZN040 adapter is used when performing All Keys Lost procedures for Audi A6/A7/A8 2011+ with BCM2.
The adapter provides all necessary connections:
•    CAN separator – used for connection to the internal CAN-BUS of the vehicle for reading the ECU and TCU
•    LIN connector (green wire) – used for connection to the internal LIN-BUS of the vehicle for reading the ELV
•    OBDII connector – used to force the IGN ON
•    B+ connector (yellow wire) – used for connection to B+ when reading the ECU and TCU through the CAN separator
•    GND connector (black wire) – used for connection to GND when reading the ECU and TCU through the CAN separator
