The Abrites Vehicle Diagnostic Software for Porsche is an extremely competent diagnostic tool aimed towards professionals working in the fields of diagnostics, key learning, advanced diagnostics, module adaptation and tuning (the last two are currently being implemented and will be available in the future versions of the software). It provides a "one tool for all needs" solution in terms of Porsche vehicle specialists worldwide. Its basic characteristics include the following:

  • Automatic identification of vehicle model - Once the AVDI interface is connected to the vehicle it will automatically detect the model and/or year in order to assist the user in their work.

  • Scanning for installed components - As the vehicle is connected, the Abrites diagnostics for Porsche has the ability to send a diagnostic request to all possibly existing modules for the particular model thus determining the electronic control modules installed in this vehicle .

  • Basic diagnostic functions:
    - Identification
    - Extended identification
    - Reading/clearing diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)

  • Supported diagnostic protocols – KWP2000 on K-Line with fast initialization, KWP2000 on
    CAN, CAN UDS, KWP2000 on TP2.0 (CAN), CAN KWP2000 on TP16, KWP2000 on K-
    Line with slow initialization.

  • - The constant issues of "lost in translation" are being eliminated daily as more and more languages are being added to the Abrites Diagnostics for Porsche, allowing more people to have access to our product.
